Abstract:
Diabetes is a form of chronic illness that lasts a long time. Diabetes is a condition in which blood sugar levels are excessively high. Various physical and chemical tests are used to diagnose this. If the disease can be predicted early, further serious complications may be avoided, because untreated diabetes can damage other organs such as the heart, kidneys, foot, eyes, etc. Therefore, the mortality rate due to diabetes can be reduced by early diagnosis. As a result, the model to predict if a patient has diabetes or not, using various machine learning techniques/algorithms have been evaluated, and the model that provides the highest accuracy in the shortest amount of time has been determined. For this study, the Pima Indian Diabetes Dataset (PIDD) was obtained from the Machine Learning Repository at the University of California, Irvine.
